Jakarta Suitable For Business, But Not Suitable So Government Center
Capital of the central discourse of transfer should be the focus of the government. Because, the government management was not efficient anymore if still in Jakarta.
Economist Sustainable Development Indonesia (SDI), Dradjad H. Wibowo said that, although the central business district is still considered feasible but not to the central government.
"As the central business district are very decent, but not to the central government. It is because the government no longer efficient management in the city of Jakarta," he said when talking with detikFinance Dradjad in Jakarta, Monday (09/06/2010).
Why is not efficient for government management? Dradjad tells a very simple thing, where visible from the location of the offices of the Ministry and institutions and state agencies.
"Look at the distance of the State and the Parliament Palace which is very far away. Plus the Ministry for each location are not known so inefficient if there is a special coordination meeting between their respective ministries, agencies, or the Parliament," said Dradjad.
Because it is situated far apart, Dradjad said that it needed a long time and can even cause a traffic jam.
In fact, the discourse of transfer capital or seat of government has done since the days of President Suharto. "It was never talked about and discussed during the Soeharto era, where the capital is moved to the Jonggol," said Dradjad.
